Thirty-three percent of Americans are presently working more than 40 hours a week. Only 31 percent of Americans are actually working a traditional 40-hour week, and 11 percent are putting in more than 50 hours weekly[1]. 34 percent of Americans are working fewer than 40 hours weekly, with six percent putting in fewer than 20 hours a week. “Only half of adults are now happy with the hours they work,” reported Rasmussen.
