Profits from flipping have also increased – by 246 percent. Investors earned an average gross profit of $18,391 per home flipped during the first two quarters of 2013. In the first half of 2012, they earned an average gross profit of $5,321, and in the first half of 2011, they lost an average of $13,206[1].
